Schedule over Christmas

Post by Ian-S »

Because of the UK regional lockdowns coming into force next week, combined with the hall pass being given to everybody from the 23rd to 27th (oh ow lucky we are to be given permission to travel) plus the fact that Xmas falls on a Friday and Saturday and all NYE celebrations are banned (in England anyway), we've tried to fit as many races as possible in over the Xmas period since none of us, including our European friends, are going to be doing much else this year.

This means we will race right up to the 23rd for Shorts as normal with a TBA for that date (won't be one of the picks just incase someone can't race),

There will be no race on the 25th obviously, as much as some of us might want to lol.

The held over Truck race from the 25th will then run on Monday 28th with an extra Truck race on Wednesday 30th December 2020, there will be no race on 1st January 2021 as a result (hey some of us might still have a drink the night before eh eh wink wink!)

The schedules will then return to normal from Monday 4th onwards with the GT's taking on Bathurst.

If that's confusing, it's all on the frontpage too.

Just as a bit of warning there may be a slight change to this on the New Year week since most of us will be stuck in lockdown, so the races on the 28th and 30th December and 1st January 2021 will likely be as normal (28th GT, 30th Trucks (makup race from Xmas day) & 1st Jan Trucks) instead of the revised schedule above.

This is still subject to confirmation but it seems pointless us not racing as most of Europe is already in some sort of respective national lockdown and most of the UK will be by then if it isn't already in Tier 4.
