2024 Race Series Details....

V8Thunder is pleased to announce the schedule for the 2024 Season as follows:

Monday Nights: rFactor2 Series:
Mondays will return for rFactor2 action with the free NGTC British Touring Car mod following the BTCC Schedule (where possible, all free content will be used), the series will begin on 19th February 2024 at Donington Park, each subsequent week the series will follow the BTCC schedule, run triple headers and utilise the BTCC Drivers points system with success ballast and reverse grids. We will only be using the FWD cars from this pack so that everything is uniformed.

There is a choice of 4 manufacturers - Ford, Mercedes Benz, MG or Vauxhall. Please download the mod if you do not have it already and see which manufacturer you wish to use as this will be the one choice for the entire year. Once chosen, please PM Bruce with your choice and also which livery you wish to appear on the chosen car so that he can add them to the Series Skin Pack - Details of which will be announced soon. After the 10 rounds are complete Mondays will switch to using the Legends Car mod for the remaining 3 weeks for a Mini Series. Both Series will run during Spring, Summer and Autumn Series.

Wednesday Nights: NR2003 Trophy Series:
Our traditional spot for the Trophy, and year long Cup Series will remain on Wednesday evenings, again following the NASCAR schedule with one or two exceptions where tracks necessitate using the FCRD NCS22 mod once again. As per previous years, each event will be a single race 50% of the real race, with real weather (where applicable) starting on 21st February 2024 at Daytona International Speedway, as per a few years ago, some adjustments to the schedule will take place in the Summer due to the Olympics. The Series will run during Spring, Summer and Autumn Series with full post race analysis with the addition of the full length yearly Cup Series running alongside as well.

Friday Nights: NR2003 Truck Series:
Trucks will move back to it's Friday night slot for 2024, like previous years the schedule will be picked by the drivers, there will be a mixture of single event races and double headers, depending on the track being raced at., starting on 23rd February 2024 at Daytona International Speedway using the PWF CTS mod once again. The Series will run during Spring and Autumn Series only with NO post race analysis, there will not be a series run during the Summer Season unless there is sufficient call for it, or the Summer and Autumn Series will be merged into one and run once a fortnight, details on this will be announced during the season. (like the Winter Series, incidents will only be dealt with by protest).

Charter System:
The Charter System is to undergo some changes this year, details of this will be announced shortly.
