@Bruce First car I've compressed with WinMip2, please let me know how it looks/shows on your system.

@Lastlap Forgot to say, everything looked ok. No issues at all so it does seem to have been those 4 files that were causing the issue as i was running upto 145 fps at Vegas Cup race.

I do apologise for that, so any new rides for myself or others I will now compress before upload.

No worries mate, you weren't to know. It was just a weird thing that had not bothered myself until recently and after troubleshooting everything else that was the only thing i could think could be causing the issue but i'm glad it's sorted now.

The following cars were between 9mb and 16mb.
I've compressed them down to between 2mb and 4mb now.

@Ian-S can we put a cap on the number of schemes (say 3 + 1 special if you reach a milestone) you can post because to have 10 schemes that all basically look the same bar a different sun strip/contingency or a slighltly different coloured/placed logo is madness

I remember racing V8T when you could only have 1 scheme.

3 a series seems reasonable. Sorry but its just unnecessary to have 10 schemes when you have to play spot the difference to see when they're on a different car file

If you then feel the need to use a different paint scheme, you can upload it but with the same filename - such that those who dont download it will still see a paintjob but you can drive whatever car you feel like?
I am assuming that its the filename rather than the paintjob itself that is important for the game - i.e. that if i have the filename the same as the other driver, i'd be able to see a paintscheme?
I've just thought of another suggestion. Could you (ian?) create a series car file, that has all the car numbers in use in A or B template, perhaps with V8 Thunder plastered all over it. But then we could each use our own paintjobs if we see fit?

Feel free to volunteer your time to paint, oh I'd say 50 cars for next year and you can consider it done.LessThanSte wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 1:24 pmI've just thought of another suggestion. I've got one in the works for next week's template pack. I'll send them to ian to post as the official tempalte if thats what we wantLessThanSte wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 1:24 pmCould you implement a file naming convention - perhaps you can have 2 paint schemes (e.g. 2020_58_A.cup.car and 2020_58_B.cup.car) that everyone has.

Still to be decided but assuming it will be same as last year, however there will be some mandatory logos everybody needs to run in order to qualify for the prizes so don't finalize your paints just yet.
